An opaque ruby-garnet color with a bouquet that opens with a note of sweet wood (vanilla and chocolate) followed by scents of black cherry and tar. The mouthfeel is even wrapping while the tannins tend to be drying – something rare for a Montepulciano d’Abruzzo.
