The name recalls the family’s ancestral roots and while it may be a little rhetorical, the wine is simply fantastic. Made from only Aglianico grapes, it has an intense garnet color and a spicy aroma of cinnamon, cassis and wild strawberries. The taste is elegant, taut, and slightly tannic with a subtle yet very long finish.

Serve at 18°C and pair with baked Laticauda lamb.
