A dark and intense ruby color and a very elegant nose that still has fruity raspberry notes alongside balsamic scents and those of resin and ink, followed by sweet spice and a smoky hint. The agile and elegant mouthfeel is nicely upheld by an acidity that gives it a punch. The finish is very persistent.
