The grapes were personally selected in the vineyard by Edoardo Miroglio who, after the wines age, selects only the best for his Elenovo Reserve. The line is composed of five varietal wines, each from a single vineyard, and given the strict selection process not all wines come out every year.
This Cabernet Sauvignon ages for 15 months in French-oak barriques and has an intact ruby color. The bouquet has aromas of blackberry and sour cherry with accents of dark chocolate and licorice. The mouthfeel is soft and warm and balanced by a nice freshness and well-integrated tannins. The finish is long and slightly balsamic.
This pair well with roast meats and aged cheese.
Gold Medal.
