This throws you with its integrity and strength. A full red ruby color with slight garnet nuances. The aroma is complex and pyrotechnical, almost citrus, licorice-like and balsamic. The taste is silky, direct, without frills but with that touch of intriguing austerity, while the tannins are extraordinarily still present and enliven the palate. Truly a great DR0P.
