Made from only Sangiovese grapes from an 85-year-old vineyard and fermented in conical oak fermentation tanks to then age in Allier and Troncais barriques and tonneau barrels for 12 months. Those who love this estate should know that this is, in reality, the great, classic and historic ‘Vigna delle Lepri’ wine. This version has a nice balance in the aroma between notes of various varieties of cherry and floral scents that range from sweet violet to lily of the valley with some sensations of gentian. The mouthfeel has great balance and austerity with a flavor that remains compact yet slender with a tasty progression and a finish not corroded by the tannins but amplified by a very deep vein of black cherry.
