Cuvèe Louise Nature 2004

A blend of 35% Pinot Noir from the Grand Cru village of Ay and 65% Chardonnay selected from the Grand Cru villages of Avize and Cramant that was disgorged after ten years on the lees without any dosage added. The wine appears harmonious and rich with a pleasingly creamy effervescence. The bouquet is wrapping and at the same time lively with notes of hazelnut and candied ginger, a fresh vein of citrus, mango and nuances of orange blossom. The mouthfeel reveals it ‘Nature’ side with a lovely tension highlighted by savory sensations and a pulpy fullness with a texture centered and rounded by nuances of dried fruit. The finish has a nice depth and long persistence.
