The color could not be any more Verdicchio-esque: a (quite faded) straw yellow with greenish reflections. The aroma could be more intense and defined even if it had the re-occurring and characteristic smoky notes together with those of anise and peach. The flavor of this Verdicchio, made in steel vats, is fresh, elegant even if a bit light. For sure it is very young and it is well-known that Cuprese begins to give its best after a year or so in the bottle.
