What is 24 years for an Italian white! I am not joking here. Twice in the past two months I have had good ones, so can it be a rule? Unfortunately, no but with a great Verdicchio it can happen. After the Villa Bucci it happened to me again with this Cuprese with its meaty, dense almost chewable flavor, lively and full. The color is a bright yellow. A tad faded, and the smokiness in the nose is almost excessive with its mentholated notes.
