An equal blend of Trebbiano Umbro (procanico) and Malvasia del Chianti fermented and matured in glass-lined cement vats. The wine has a veiled, mustard-yellow color and a bouquet with alternating notes of bread and grains, yellow flowers and curry with an exemplary frankness. The rich and fresh mouthfeel is expansive, having been made like a red wine, and bread and grain return as flavors with those of grains lingering in the aftertaste that has an excellent persistence. Nothing it over the top.
This is a fantastic wine to have with a rustic cuisine, especially snacks, and can even be enjoyed – and it is a merit and not a defect – in a tumbler glass.
