    A dark, ruby color with purple reflections. The bouquet has a magnificent violet aroma (recalling a Sangiovese) with dark chocolate and austere notes. The mouthfeel is juicy and the tannins have many layers at the center of the mouth while the finish is refreshing. Overall the wine expresses the terroir more than the grape variety and with breathing it becomes more defined. The tannins are grainy.
