Rosso Barchetta 2006

A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot that matures in barriques for about a year. The color is a very intense ruby-garnet and the aroma is broad with notices of sour cherry jam, balsamic hints, spicy sensations and a whiffs of wild berries. The mouthfeel is warm, composed and saline with tannins that are still evident but well integrated into the wine’s structure. The finish as excellent length 1.5-liter bottles.
