The wine has a greenish, straw-yellow color and an aroma of flint, chalk, citrus peel, white peach and a smoky, all which give it great finesse. The mouthfeel is dry, which is not always the case with wines by Zind Humbrecht, with a delicate attack and notes of citrus that then blend into almost bitter mineral tones in the energetic and lively finish. A great wine to have with meals and one that is less demanding than its equivalent from Germany. This wine has at least another 15 years ahead of it.
