    Made from Cesanese di Affile grapes. This and 2005 were both cool years and the wine has a transparent, ruby-red color. The aroma is elegant, complex and direct with lovely nuances of red fruit and tobacco. The mouthfeel is less concentrated than the 2001 but long and with an exceptional drinkability.
