A blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo that ages for six months in vats and at least three months in the bottle. The color is a bright ruby and the intense aroma has notes of dark fruit with a hint of mint and a light sensation of tobacco. The mouthfeel has a good intensity and pleasing flavor with a lovely finish. Situated in Castellina in Chianti, in the province of Siena, the estate is on the border between the appellations of Chianti and Chianti Classico.
