Made from Sangiovese grapes with a small addition of other varieties, the wine ages in tonneau barrels of around 18 months. It has a bright and concentrated ruby color and an intense and clean aroma with distinct notes of red and dark fruit and while the blond spice component is still lively, it has begun to settle thanks to the wine’s fine texture. The tannins are still young but they contribute agility and progression to the mouthfeel. The finish is flavorful making this a fine drop.
