Made from Sangiovese grapes and aged for 12 months in large barrels. The wine has a profound, ruby color of medium complexity with a bouquet that opens on dark and shadowy notes of damp earth and fresh leather on top of a distinct scent of violet and cherry. The mouthfeel has a medium richness, the tannins are lively yet not overbearing and at the center of the palate there is a distinct floral note while in the finish the sensations of earth and umami come out. An unmissable, classic style that at the table pairs with just about everything.
