This 100% Chardonnay wine ferments and ages for 24 months in used barriques before aging another five years in steel. It has a bright, straw-yellow color with reflections that are still green. The bouquet is very complex with oscillating scents of olives and white flowers along with aromas of white-pulp fruit like leaches and a beautiful, slightly smoky spice note and a balsamic tone. The mouthfeel is elegant and complex with an intense acidity, a lovely saltiness and a bold yet contained body. The finish is fantastically persistent.
