An ‘historic’ more than classic vintage, one that is nearly perfect thanks to a truly sensational growing season, the best of the century so far. Everything is the way it should be and its only defect is its youth, but this is something that will pass quickly, for wines as for men. Its bright, garnet color has a nice intensity, while the aromas are already defined and distinguishable with fruity, spicy and floral notes trading off each other. The mouthfeel is taut and elegant with an acidic component that is simply perfect and a structure that is not too faint and can support it. While already pleasing to drink, this has great aging prospects, 20 years and up, and will surely achieve a complexity, taste and aroma of great class.
