Very young and, above all, the product of a hot growing season and early harvest. This resulted in a Chambertin which is very pleasing and even ready to drink because its acidic-tannic edges are polished and the aroma is more fruity than floral. The spicy notes are less evident, with only hints of dog rose, while the scents of currant and wild strawberry are well-defined. The finish is warm and wrapping with a nice persistence.
