A blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Merlot that ages in barrels of different sizes for 18 months. The wine has an intense, ruby color and an aroma that is still youthful with clear and intense notes of cherry and blackberry with a hint of the strawberry tree fruit and almond. The mouthfeel is thick and progressive with nice, rigorous but not aggressive tannins and a very persistent finish that is consistent with the aroma and its blackberry notes.
