A blend of Sangiovese from different parcels with the wines maturing separately for 16 months in 5hl and 7hl barrels and then in vats after blending before aging for a year in the bottle. The wine has a bright ruby color and an intense aroma with scents of rosemary, cherry and classic violet. The balanced and flavorful mouthfeel is very juicy and has a lovely acidity, while the structure is graceful and elegant. The long, saline finish adds a note of austerity to the drop.
This harvest produced 13,000 bottles.
