A wine made from Nebbiolo grapes that ages both in large barrels and in the bottle and has a bright and luminous garnet color. The aromas have exceptional integrity with varietal notes of violet, currant and hints of licorice followed by composed sensations of spice all creating a profile of great finesse in a framework that is already complex and articulated. The mouthfeel is very taut, with a delicious acidic component that interacts with an agile body and thick yet refined tannins that are in no way aggressive. The finish has formidable persistence. A great wine.
