    Times have changed. The BioIntegral protocol has taken off and Sangiovese is king, with amphorae now used to mature 20% of production. Although the summer was very hot, in Rufina it was more temperate. The wine has a dark and uniform, ruby-red color and an intense and clear aroma that stands out for the integrity of the fruit with notes of Marasca cherry and orange peel along with floral hints and those of ash. The tannins that are still young and the mouthfeel fresh and fruity, with nice persistence and depth and a long, fruity finish.
