    A rainy year creating no few problems in the vineyard and the wine matured in both medium-sized and large barrels. The color is a dark ruby and the aroma introverted, slightly green, and along with the fruity notes are hints of face powder and rhubarb. The vertical mouthfeel has a lovely acidity but the flavor is a tad compressed.
