The product of one of the best years of the century, this wine is made from only Barbera grapes and aged in large oak barrels. It has a deep,monolithic ruby color and a magnificent, complex and refined aroma. The bouquet has violet, sour cherry and ripe blackberry jam, juniper berries, pink and black pepper, laurel and blond tobacco all encompassed by mineral nuances. The flavor confirms expectations with its soft mouthfeel, full body and distinct balance, while the tannins are settled and do not intrude on the fresh-punget component. The long aftertaste invites another sip, so as not to forget.
