The bouquet is what you'd hoped it would be but did not expect from such a young Cascina Francia, so articulated. There is no trace of vinosity, it is bold and persuasive, confidential and merry. An astounding, shameless bouquet, the mineral scents wed violets of thought with shredded roses. The dominating fruit scents are melon, watermelon and medlar and they come to life with breathing. The spectrum becomes more ample, extends to include menthol and balsamic. The taste is solemn, a great body of superb proportions. All things considered it is already excellent today.
