    Made from Sangiovese grapes from the vineyard of the same name that sits at an altitude of 450m above sea level and has a soil rich in marl and limestone. The wine ages for 14 months in 500-liter barrels, then briefly in cement vats before aging for six months in the bottle. Its ruby color has a lovely intensity while the cherry and violet bouquet has a some spice and woody sensations. Notes of fruit accompany an elegant mouthfeel that has a nice consistency, lovely tannins and a persistent finish.
