This was an excellent year, dry with perfectly health grapes. The color is an ochre of medium intensity and a bit monotonous. It is slightly veiled (the wine was nether filtered nor clarified) which is typical for whites that have fermented in the skins. The aroma is thick yet fine for the type of wine it is with scents of blood orange, candied apricot, a whiff of cinchona, strawberry and turpentine. The attack of the mouthfeel is robust without being fat, very fragrant and a tad dry at the center of the palate, with notes of malt and red fruit in aspic with a pleasing bitter touch in the finish, which is very persistent. Here, as in all the other samples, the wine stays drinkable long after the bottle has been opened or glassed poured.
