    A blend of 80% Sangiovese and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon from the oldest vines that have a southern exposure. The wine ages for a year in new-wood barriques and then another year in the bottle. It has a dense, ruby color and a complex, dark and slightly smoky aroma with elegant fruity notes of blackberry and citron together with a hint of graphite. The mouthfeel is harmonious and quite full with polished tannins and a lovely aftertaste between licorice and cherry.
