A wine made from Gaglioppo grapes that macerate for 12 hours with spontaneous fermentation and ages in stainless steel. It has an onionskin color with reflections that are between gold and mahogany. The aroma is rustic with notes of burnt earth, flour and walnuts on a background of orange peel. The mouthfeel is sleek and subtle with a biting and salty attack while the finish has tannins that, while only hinted at, reveal the angrier and authentic side of Cirò with an aftertaste of citrus and yeast. You could call this a kind of black and white version of a Cirò red.
