An overall warmer and drier summer allowed grapes of every variety to reach full maturity and the produce wines with warm and wrapping characteristics. This wine has light garnet reflections in its color and its bouquet is an explosion of intensity and warmth with some distinct and nice fruit, above all blackberry and cassis, followed by spicy notes and a touch of tobacco. An excellent freshness in the mouthfeel is accompanied by a rich structure and thick and perfectly settled tannins. All together, the wine remains austere and silky, a thoroughbred wine.
