This 100% Aglianico wine has a ruby color that is still dark, almost threatening, with intense garnet nuances. Both the aroma and flavor are concentrated with scents of roots and bark in the bouquet while the mouthfeel is decidedly muscular, spirited and bold. Overall it is almost a stereotype of the 1990s model… not commonplace but nice and with a long life ahead of it.
