Made from Sangiovese grapes from four different vineyards that spontaneously ferment separately using indigenous yeasts. The wine matures for 18 months in French-oak barrels and then ages long in the bottle, the duration depending on the harvest. It has a lovely, dark-ruby color with dark reflections and a slightly orange edge. The aroma is very bold, balsamic, with notes of truffle, underbrush, damp earth, leather, dried flowers and cinchona. The mouthfeel is direct and bold, fruity and spicy with a long persistence. A truly lovely bottle.

    Production: around 20,000 bottles

Price: 60 euros for the latest vintage available retail.
