    This Asinone is practically still a child. While the product of a lovely, warm year, it is amazing how complex the bouquet already is with its excellent freshness from black cherry, blood orange and floral streak of fresh violets all set in a framework of spices that would make Madagascar envious. The quality of the tannins is astonishing, rich yet never overbearing, allowing this bold wine to never become boring and upholding and amplifying its drinkability. The aftertaste is unbelievably complex and incredibly persistent.
