A blend of 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% amounts of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. After fermenting in stainless steel vats, the wine ages for 18 months in French-oak barriques, 80% of which are new wood, and then a further 18 months in the bottle.
This vintage still has a youthful color and the aroma is equally as youthful as well as intense and lovely. The fruity notes of blueberry and raspberry are still pronounced and there are also spicy and balsamic notes, while aging has naturally made the bouquet more complex and enriched with sensations of graphite and a light touch of leather. The mouthfeel is surprisingly fresh and has a medium body, while the tannins are fine and silky. A masterpiece of elegance and balance.
