The first vintage of this deauxiem vin de la maison, a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. The wine fermented in part in cement and in part in large wooden vats before aging for a year in used tonneau and then another ten months in cement. It has a nicely intense, almost purple color while the aromatic profile is intensely fruity with scents of blackberry and blueberry and a little spice. The wine has a medium body and a saline, simple and tasty flavor with a progression that leads to a fruity finish.
