A blend of Nero di Troia (60%) and Montepulciano (40%) that is certified as having absolutely no sulfites and was at no stage kept in wood. The color is a bright, slightly pale purple-red with violet reflections. The Montepulciano is quite evident in the aroma and adds some useful rustic characteristics and complexity. Useful because this is a wine made by subtraction, the product of extreme filtration. While this is in no way a light-weight wine, f you are looking looking for something packing a punch, then try one of their other products.
