Nine years maturing in kegs have made this a rare and delicious nectar made from Malvasia di Candia grapes that were manically selected. This historic vintage has made the wine famous and much sought after. The wine has an amber-yellow, almost mahogany color with a very evident, almost oily concentration. The distinct aroma recalls Chantilly cream, hazelnut cream from the Upper Langhe and fig jam with a coquettish smoky note. The mouthfeel has an amazing sugar concentration that is diluted and cleansed by a surprising acidity. A wine with an extremely high persistence. *375ml bottles.
