Locanda Marchesi Alfieri and Cascina Margherita

Between Langhe, Monferrato and Roero, the two structures dedicated to the hospitality of Marchesi Alfieri offer different solutions for those who love the hills of Piedmont.

Marchesi Alfieri is an historic winery located in the San Martino Alfieri castle in the hills between Asti and Alba. Emanuela, Antonella and Giovanna San Martino di San Germano have been running the business since 1983, with Mario Olivero as head winemaker and director since 1999.

In the eighteenth-century village at the foot of the castle of San Martino Alfieri, the Locanda offers seven elegant double rooms. Within the estate, there is also Cascina Margherita, a traditional Piedmontese house with four double bedrooms, for those who want to enjoy the views of our hills. 

The rooms of the Locanda, fitted with antique family furniture, are equipped with free WIFI, air conditioning, satellite TV, kitchenette with fridge and private bathroom. Cascina Margherita consists of four double rooms with private bathroom and air conditioning, kitchen, living room, lounge with fireplace, satellite TV and a large veranda with an exclusive garden. It is ideal for families, groups of friends or corporate workshops. The best local products, both sweet and savory, are selected for the breakfast.

The exclusive access to the castle park allows you to relax with a walk among ancient trees, perhaps sipping a good glass of wine. For enthusiasts, do not miss the visit to the estate, the ancient cellars, and the guided wine tasting. In the winery courtyard, there are three charging stations for electric cars.
