An amber color with distinct, orange reflections topped by an ivory and compact head. The bouquet is strong, the result of the aromatic boldness of the hops which deserve to be in the Guinness Book of Records. There are scents of bitter orange, bergamot, lime, apricot, yellow peach, tropical fruit, honey and wild herbs with a hint of resin on the side. The mouthfeel is voluminous and soft, with a distinct and impressive bitterness and a subtle carbonation. The after-aroma is consistent with the bouquet, long and with the citrus element up front, followed by notes of malt and a pleasing bitter finish.
A beer that pairs easily, from a refined duck confit with orange peel to a ‘rustic’ sausage and pumpkin risotto.
