An amber-colored beer with red and orange reflections. The bouquet has intense aromas of malt and spice, a hint of roselle, cherry and grains with licorice in the finish. The mouthfeel is rounded, pleasingly bitter, velvety, with a subtle effervescence and a fresh aftertaste. Overall balanced and with a ‘dangerous’ drinkability, this brew has a consistent after-aroma with a return of malt and sweet spice sensations. Best paired with roast chicken with garlic butter, a traditional main course in Suffolk.
