The color is a dark amber with distinct tawny reflections and a compact, cream-colored head. The aroma has clear and pronounced malt, wild berry, elder flower, citrus and toasted notes. The mouthfeel has a creamy carbonation and is dense, fruity and pleasingly bitter with an aftertaste of myrtle orange and a hint of almond. The volume is overall good and the finish a tad smoky.

This is perfect to pair with everything local like dark bread, saucisses and boudin but it is also good with stewed pork ribs and squash to welcome the autumn ahead of the Celtic New Year.
