A.F.O.

A.F.O., an acronym for Ales for (the) Obsessed, is a classic beer for those who love British and American varieties. It is an amber-colored, top-fermented pale ale which stands out for its complexity without being too fresh or easy to drink. This was one of Giovanni’s first creations and came out in 2007 as the brewery’s second product. It is a beer that impeccably expresses its personality with the aromas of the best hops. The bouquet is herbal scents with mountain and resinous herbal scents intermingling with sweets notes of exotic fruit. The mouthfeel has an excellent attack and is immediately soft and juicy. This is followed by more bitter sensations, always nicely balanced, and a saline and deep finish in which a lovely note of caramel emerges. We paired it with a 12-month aged Montgomery Cheddar and from that moment became an obsession.
