2 Cilindri

In theory this is a Porter, a dark beer that many drinkers avoid because they are put off by a color that appears to indicate a bold, full-bodied brew that is difficult to drink, especially for those who prefer light beers. But 2 Cilindri is something else. The bouquet is incredibly complex with roasted notes and those of sweet malt, licorice and cacao. The fresh and smooth mouthfeel has great balance and while, initially, the flavor seems soft, little by little it become slightly bitter as it evolves into a deep aftertaste. This is an amazingly drinkable beer that should be served at 8°C in a classic British pint glass and paired with fresh and tasty goat cheese or fresh oysters in the British tradition.
