On the new site

Sul nuovo sito

Everyone has at some time in their lives changed their phone number or email address at least once. It is a process that results in losing some data or information and links with providers. Something similar has been taking place with our new website. It is very lovely, I think, from a graphic point of view but the enormous archive we have built over the past five years has created no few problems. Thus not all the articles we’ve published have been loaded onto the new site and it is still not possible for our readers to leave their remarks, something that I, personally, miss a great deal. These are just some of the biggest inconveniences we have encountered in our transition. For sure, we could have waited a bit longer and gone online with the new site in a more efficient way. But I take full responsibility for this as well as for not fulfilling my promise to have the new site up and running at the start of the new year and not three months later.  Perhaps I made a mistake, perhaps not. The fact of the matter is that much remains to be done and it will still take some time to resolve all the problems. The data we have has shown that you have not abandoned us, even if you cannot comment on what we do, and I am very grateful for this. For what it is worth, you can continue to have the ‘thrill’ of seeing how our site grows, day by day, following our evolution and imagining what we must be going through, worried as we are over the delays and problems that keep mounting with each task. But we will get through this, you’ll see, and the site will become bigger and better than ever.
