Happy Ferragosto from DoctorWine

With the hope that this week of summer heat will be enough to recharge the batteries for everyone, at the sea or in the mountains. Or among vineyards.

Happy vacations to those who are leaving or have already left, and happy return to those who have already enjoyed their days of relaxation. For us, the week of Ferragosto means the editorial closure of the Guida Essenziale ai Vini d'Italia, which - as anyone who deals with paper publishing knows - has the time dictated by the needs of printers according to the date requested by us. A countdown from which we cannot deviate. And we know the date we need the guides for, it's a week before the presentations that will be in Milan on October 2nd and 3rd (at the Hotel Principe di Savoia) and in Rome on October 9th (Spazio Novecento). So we are taking a break from the site for a week just to focus more on the final rush "guidarolo" (as the insiders say).
