The noble traditions of Capolino Pierlingieri

Aglianico di Campania Brizio 2015 from the Capolino Pierlingueru estate is an inviting and easy-to-drink wine at an affordable price.
This historic Sannio estate of Alexa Capolino Pierlingieri has a total of 40 hectares of land of which 22 are cultivated with corn, 13 are vineyards and 5 are olive groves.
The improvement of the winery began 20 years ago when the estate was reacquired by the family that owned it up until the 19th century and restored its noble roots and traditions. Since then the owners – benefitting from the consultancy of enologist Stefano Chioccioli – have progressively replanted the vineyards, intensifying the layout of the vines and selecting native clones: Aglianico, Piedirosso and Sciascinoso grapes for the red wines and Greco, Fiano and Falanghina for the whites, all which are cultivated organically in plots bordering with the Taburno National Park.
The estate also produces award-winning extra-virgin olive oil.
