Territorial character

It is difficult to write something original about Garofoli, which has been a pillar of quality Marche wine for at least 30 years. It is above all impossible to raise any objection to a line of production that, from their daily wines to the select ones, from the reds to the sparkling wines, has nothing to fault.

Here all we can do is limit ourselves to adding something that perhaps not all wine lovers know: their red wines are of the highest level, from Rosso Conero Agontano on down.

And when the subject is their still Verdicchio wines, it is not fair to limit oneself to the classic superior Podium (the latest 2014 is magnificent) and the reserve Serra Fiorse (the 2012 is great). This because this imaginary pedestal there is a third wine, one that is produced in quantity and at an unbeatable price: Classico Superiore Macrina. This wine is not just pleasing to drink and stylistically well-made, but has an authentic territorial personality.
