Quality on all levels
It is hard to imagine what southwestern Sicily, the area of Menfi, would be like without Cantina Settesoli, a prime example of what a wine cooperative should be. The cooperative is the biggest in Sicily with some 2,000 members for a total of 6,000 hectares of vineyards with different soils and exposures that allow for the cultivation of 27 grape varieties.
A driving economic and social force in the area, as well as a champion of sustainable agriculture, Settesoli produces quality on various levels: from the stock wines it produces and that can be found in leading supermarkets for 4.50 euros (all worth trying), to the top Mandrarossa line that keeps raking in prizes. In the middle is a wide range of wines to meet all tastes and budgets, including the following white wine.
